When heading through Kelowna with a couple of girlfriends, we had some time to stop and do some tastings. We knew we wanted to steer clear of some of the mammoth wineries and try a couple of the hidden gems of the region. Thanks to Rachel's Winetripping, we got to pet pygmy goats and try the whites at Off the Grid in West Bank, and encountered some entertaining folks and marveled at the artwork and depth of the wines at The Hatch.

I've always loved visiting wineries in BC's Okanagan, but I've never known which are the best and what kind of experience to expect at each. This summer as we were driving through the Okanagan we wanted to stop in at a few for lunch, have a glass of wine and pick up a couple bottles for our weekend. Rachel makes it feel like you're getting top recommendations from a great friend, rather than a guide book.
